Happiness is Closer than you Think

Half-day course of talks & meditations

We all want to be happy all the time, yet happiness seems elusive, fragile and temporary - We tend to look for happiness outside ourselves, constantly adjusting our external world and trying to make it conform to our needs and wishes. In reality, happiness is closer than we think! It is part of the mind that experiences peace and we can learn to develop it ourselves through training in meditation.   Learn how to identify your own inner state of happiness, grow it and use it in daily life. This course is followed by the 'Ten Happiness Hacks that really work' weekly Thursday evening series

The Path to Freedom

A half-day course of talks & guided meditations

In this busy world, our experiences of happiness are fleeting and short-lived, while inner peace eludes us completely.  Our negative states of mind, such as uncontrolled desire and anger, create endless problems for ourselves and others, and prevent us from fulfilling our deepest wishes.  Buddha's popular teaching on the Four Noble Truths offers a clear and simple solution, guiding us to an oasis of peace within our hearts.
