KMC Bristol

What to expect?

‘Buddha’ means ‘Awakened One’, someone who has awakened from the sleep of ignorance and sees things as they really are. A Buddha is a person who is completely free from all faults and mental obstructions. A truly inspiring retreat where we will draw on Buddha's enlightened insight to explore our own approach to life, its meaning and purpose. Buddha's insights and meditation methods for gaining deep spiritual experience are perfectly presented within “Lamrim” - meaning Stages of the path to enlightenment. This is a special series of meditations consisting of all the essential teachings of Buddha. Their order of presentation facilitates spiritual transformation as we follow in his footsteps, shifting ordinary ways of thinking towards meaningful insights. The special structure of retreat provides consistent familiarity with meditation, facilitates deep connection to our meditation objects and brings deeper transformation, leaving a lasting positive impact on our life. Because retreat facilitates immersion without distraction it is a powerful method for inner transformation. Those unable to attend the entire retreat can book for individual full days, individual sessions however are not drop-in. Sessions last 1 hour Friday 7:30pm Introduction Saturday 9am, 11am 2pm, 4pm Sunday: 9am, 11am 2pm
