Amitabha KMC

Welcome!

The Centre was founded in 1992 by the renowned Buddhist meditation master Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Amitabha KMC is located in the bustling, bohemian district of Gloucester Road and provides a peaceful and relaxed environment in which people can discover the benefits of meditation and modern Buddhism. We hold regular classes and courses here at the centre in Bristol and throughout the surrounding areas via our outreach classes.

We are a non-profit organisation with all proceeds from Amitabha KMC and The World Peace Cafe going back into our charitable works.

Amitabha Kadampa Meditation Centre is both a non-profit organisation and a charity. All work done at the Centre and in our cafe is done voluntarily and there are many ways you can support the activities and help us flourish. Volunteering is a fun way to meet like-minded people, learn new skills and get more involved. Volunteering can be undertaken by anyone and can take as little or as much time as you wish. Every little help is greatly appreciated!
