What to expect?
A meditators guide to life's ups and downs from the practical wisdom of Buddhism and the hearts of our experienced meditation teachers. March 20th How to keep perspective When we get lost in the details and dramas of life we can feel overwhelmed and lost. Learn how meditation brings perspective. March 27 How to really relax our mind Our thoughts can be so busy but we can learn to quiet our mind and deeply relax May 1st How to manage our relationships Meditation helps us to regulate our own thoughts and emotions, bringing clarity, strength and stability. This in turn brings positive perspective to our relationships with others May 8 How to be in control of how we feel Our feelings have a tendency to follow the ebbs and flows of our life, making it difficult to stay in control of them. Learn how to take back control of our feelings. May 15 How to be our own supporter We can be our own worst enemy, increasing feelings of discouragement and isolation. Learn how we can be a good friend and wise guide to ourselves. May 22 How to feel light when life feels heavy Learn how we can lift our mind whenever we feel overloaded and overwhelmed. Beginners welcome and those looking to deepen their practice. Sessions last one hour with different teachers each week. The class consists of short guided meditations and teachings.
