Evening and Lunchtime classes

 

Evening Classes:  

Each class consists of guided meditations, a talk, and an opportunity to ask questions.  There is no need to book, just drop in to any class. Everyone is welcome     

Mondays 7 – 8:00pm    

Basics of Buddhist Meditation

with Kelsang Lamchen (Resident Teacher at Amitabha KMC)

Simple guided meditations and practical teachings for increasing inner peace, reducing stress, improving relationships and finding meaning in life.

Relax & Let Go

with Hannah Richardson

Come along, relax and leave busy minds behind. Learn easy & simple meditations for relaxation and peace. 

Classes are based on the living meditation series (see link below). This series is also available to buy in our book shop.

Through practicing meditation we can create a mind that is as strong and stable as a mountain and as calm as the depths of an ocean, remaining still and peaceful throughout the turbulence of life.

Course fee: £7 per class or £22 for the whole course.


For all the above classes we suggest a donation of £7 per class or buy a Amitabha KMC Class Card – £22 for any 4 classes

A simple 30 minute meditation on loving kindness to brighten our day and spread happiness.

A 30 minute meditation for a clear mind. Contemplation on how the mind works and visualizations to experience peace.

Meditations for a Happy Mind – with Natalie Franco
This 45 minute class includes a concise teaching and meditation on various Buddhist topics. Emphasis is on how to generate happiness within by putting basic Buddhist teachings into practice.
