In person weekend courses at Amitabha KMC

These courses are suitable for everyone, for those beginning meditation and for those with a bit more experience. It’s a great way to take time out and relax and to learn how to practically apply meditation to our daily lives. 

All courses are taught by experienced meditation teachers and include guided meditations, talks and a chance for questions.

If you have been diagnosed with Covid-19 or have developed symptoms within the last 14 days, or if you live with or have been in contact with someone who has been diagnosed with/ developed symptoms of Covid-19 within the last 14 days, we kindly ask that you do not visit the centre. Please also be aware that wearing a mask is compulsory in our meditation room (unless you are exempt) 🙂

Please book in advance for all of our weekend courses. We have limited the number of people allowed in our meditation room at one time to 6 people, so please be aware that bookings may become full quite quickly.

Half Day Course

Moving on… love, grief and the path of peace

Saturday 26th June 10:30am – 1pm with Resident  Teacher, Kelsang Lamchen

Explore the impermanence of life from a Buddhist perspective and learn how to be at peace with the changing nature of everything.
 
This course will consist of two sessions:
10:30am – 11:30am
12pm – 1pm

Our cafe seating area will be available to use during the half an hour break.

Calm, still and stable

Sunday 11th July 10:30am – 1pm with Meditation Teacher, Justin Rodway

By controlling our mind through the practice of meditation we can experience deep inner peace and contentment and enjoy a mind that is stable and calm regardless of what life throws at us.
 
This course will consist of two sessions:
10:30am – 11:30am
12pm – 1pm
