Cafe

Open Monday – Saturday, 11am – 4pm

You can find us here

Serving a selection of light organic snacks as well as coffees, teas, a sumptuous hot chocolate, and delicious home-made cakes. A lot of the consumables are organic and as far as possible, fair-trade.

This is a peaceful place. Many visitors have commented on how good they feel here. You may visit for the peace or for the delicious food, or both. There is also free internet access and a beautiful garden to enjoy. We have toys for children, baby changing facilities and also disabled access and facilities.

Find out about the meditation and teachings that are held in the Centre. The more you find out, the better it gets.

Volunteer in the Cafe

Our cafe could not run without the support and dedication of  volunteers.  Volunteer shifts run between 10.45 – 1.30 and 1.30 – 4.30.  Typical duties include; providing a warm and friendly welcome to all our visitors, operating the till, making full range of coffees, serving customers food and drinks, clearing tables, washing up, preparation of simple meals, setting up counter and presentation of cakes, cleaning and tidying at the end of the day.  No experience is necessary as full training will be given.  As a thank you, our volunteers receive free drinks, simple lunch and a free meditation class.  Volunteering in the cafe is a great way to meet new people, get out and about and brush up on or learn new skills. Please contact us or pop in to the cafe if you are interested in helping.
