Meditations For A Happy And Meaningful Life

Throughout these classes we will look at inspiring meditations from The New Meditation Handbook by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. Each class will explain a different meditation and how it can be practically applied to our daily life

* A clear introduction to meditation and its benefits
* A step-by-step guide to 21 meditations on the path to enlightenment
* How to develop and maintain peaceful and happier states of mind

February 10th - Our precious human life
February 17th - Contemplating life's certainties
February 24th - Where do we come from, where do we go?
March 3rd - Refuge practice
March 10th - Karma
March 17th - Seeking liberation

Each class is self-contained, everyone is welcome to drop in at any time.

The class begins with a guided relaxation meditation, followed by a talk covering the particular topic for the evening and a guided meditation based on the topic of the talk. There is the chance to ask questions and after the class the opportunity to enjoy some refreshments and discuss more informally with the teacher and other participants.
