Each class consists of guided meditations, a talk, and an opportunity to ask questions.  There is no need to book, just drop in to any class. Everyone is welcome

2018 dates of classes:

Term 1;  15th January – 4th March.

Term 2;  19th March – 13th May.

Term 3;  4th June – 22nd July

Term 4;  27th August – 30th September

Term 5;  15th October – 9th December

We suggest a donation of £6 per class or buy a Amitabha KMC Class Card – £20 for any 4 classes

A short and light class, exploring how improving our concentration allows us to develop deep familiarity in meditation with positive, peaceful minds; whilst mindfulness allows us to stay with these minds without distraction, and remember them in our daily experiences.

Clear Your Mind   (A Buddhist Path to Happiness)

Thursdays 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th June;   

8pm – 9.15pm 

Within our mind lies the potential for limitless peace and happiness.  Through training in meditation and mindfulness we can unlock this potential, thereby creating an inner space and clarity that is free from distractions and painful feelings.
This practical 4 week course will focus on how to develop this potential, access the clarity of our own mind and learn to build within this space a more positive and less distracted outlook

Meditation for World Peace – with Sam Murphy
30 minutes. A gentle introduction to outer and inner peace, some short chanted prayers and a guided meditation from Transform Your Life or Eight Steps to Happiness.

Full of Potential – with Mandy Wright
30 minutes. Learn how to connect with the potential of our mind for deep inner peace and joy.

Simply Meditate – with David Towner-Jones
30 minutes. Relax and be still with an experience of inner peace. This is an opportunity each week to learn and practice breathing meditation. Everyone welcome, no experience necessary, drop-in when you like.

Fridays 12:30pm
Meditations for a Happy Mind – with Natalie Franco
45 minutes. This lunchtime class includes a short teaching and meditation on various Buddhist topics, with an emphasis on generating happiness from within and putting basic Buddhist teachings into practice. Beginners and more experienced meditators welcome.
