Reducing Stress and Anxiety

A series of 4  drop-in classes.

With experienced Buddhist teacher and practitioner David Towner-Jones.

24th June: Learning and meditating on a new approach to difficulties.
1st July:  Becoming more stable by patiently accepting unpleasant feelings.
8th July:  Working on our anger to reduce stress and anxiety.
15th July:  Becoming less emotionally dependent and vulnerable.
These classes will explore practical methods to overcome worry and stress by understanding their underlying causes in an experiential way. Through meditating on these causes and their solutions we can bring about deep improvements in positive feelings and attitudes.
Through follow-up practices at home we can reinforce our experience of each stage of this course.  
Each class begins with a breathing meditation to relax the mind. Then there is a short talk on the evening’s topic which is followed by a meditation to reinforce any practical resolution we arrived at from that topic. There will be time for questions and anyone wishing to, can stay behind for refreshments and chat.
These classes are self-contained and there is no need to book. Just turn up on the night.
There is a suggested donation of £6/£5 for each class. 
Or £20/£15 for all 4 classes.
But no one is turned away due to lack of funds.
