Term break – classes start again in April

Children’s Meditation Classes

Children are introduced to Buddhist teachings on how to develop and keep a peaceful mind, good heart and find happiness from within regardless of external situations. The classes consist of guided meditations, short talks and discussion. Suitable for all ages, younger children are welcome to bring a teddy or similar cuddly. Healthy refreshments included.

Time: Some Saturdays, 3 – 4pm


April 8, 29

May 20 (no class on May 6th due to Teen’s Half Day Course)

June 10, 24

Venue: Amitabha Buddhist Centre Bristol

Fee: We suggest a donation of £2 per family/child. No one is turned away for lack of funds.

Teen’s Meditation Class

Teens Exam Stressbuster ~ Saturday 6 May, 2.00 – 5.00

Meditation is known to reduce stress and anxiety and build focus and resilience. This afternoon will be packed with relaxing meditations and practical advice for building and maintaining a feeling of deep inner peace, clarity and relaxation that will see you through exam time and beyond.

Kelsang Lamchen

Workshops are taught by Kelsang Lamchen, the Resident Teacher of Amitabha Centre, is a mother herself to 15 year old Lily as well as being an experienced practitioner and Teacher of meditation and Buddhist thought.  She is very easy to talk to as she has such a good heart and can be contacted via email…  rt[at]
