Meditation Classes for Children

Parents and Babies Meditation Workshop

Saturday 11th March 2-3pm

Come and spend an hour learning how to relax and find peace with your baby. Buddhist meditation has much to offer for calming the mind and reducing stress and worries.  No experience necessary, suited to pre-crawlers

Venue: Amitabha Buddhist Centre Bristol

Fee: We suggest a donation of £2 per family/child. No one is turned away for lack of funds.


Children’s Meditation Class

Children are introduced to Buddhist teachings on how to develop and keep a peaceful mind, good heart and find happiness from within regardless of external situations. The classes consist of guided meditations, short talks and discussion. Suitable for all ages, younger children are welcome to bring a teddy or similar cuddly. Healthy refreshments included.

Time: Some Saturdays, 3 – 4pm

Kelsang Lamchen

Both workshops are taught by Kelsang Lamchen, the Resident Teacher of Amitabha Centre, is a mother herself to 15 year old Lily as well as being an experienced practitioner and Teacher of meditation and Buddhist thought.  She is very easy to talk to as she has such a good heart and can be contacted via email…  rt[at]meditationinbristol.org
