Visiting Amitabha Centre
Getting Here:
The Centre is on Gloucester Road with showcase bus route stops just outside. (If we had a street number it would be 237A but our nextdoor neighbours are using that number already.)
If you're travelling south look out for Horfield and then as you come into Bishopston and the hill goes more steeply down look out for us on the left. We are just down from Bristol Buddhist Centre which is on the other (west) side of the road.
If you're going north on Gloucester Road there is a petrol station on the corner of Berkeley Road - then the road goes uphill more steeply. Look out for us on the right after Brynland Avenue and the block of flats where the church used to stand.
The no.73, 74, 75, 76 and 77 buses stop just outside. The stop is called Hatherley Road. Some people know this steep part of Gloucester Road as Pig Sty Hill.
