Meditation Classes and Modern Buddhism

Happiness depends upon quality of mind, rather than upon anything else.
A series of talks and practical meditations that enables everyone, from the beginner to advanced practitioners, to find inner peace and solve life’s problems. Whether simply wanting to improve happiness and quality of life, or wishing to progress along and complete the path to enlightenment, these classes have something to offer you.

Sept 8th- Quality of Mind and Inner Peace
Sept 15th- Solving Life’s Problems
Sept 22nd- A Meditation on Human Life
Sept 29th- Modern Buddhism
Oct 6th- Compassion and Wisdom part 1
Oct 13th- Compassion and Wisdom part 2

Oct 20th- break– (International Kadampa Buddhist Festival,
Oct 27th- break– Sao Paulo, Brazil)

Classes continue on Nov 3rd

 

 

 

Each class is self-contained (drop-in to any) and consists of guided meditations, a talk based on Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s books and an opportunity to discuss and ask questions.
Refreshments are provided.
Everyone is welcome. There is no need to book, just turn up on the night.


What happens at a class?

We request a facility fee of £6 per class or buy a 'Class Card' for £20 and pay for 4 classes in advance.
